Our City, Our Responsibility – Participatory Urban Development: Peace Innovation Lab
“Ich bin ein Berliner.” This is our city – and our responsibility! Whether you’ve called Berlin home for decades, or just arrived, you are invited to attend the Peace Innovation Lab to help make Berlin an even more inclusive, open and inviting place. A city is only as cosmopolitan, colorful and lively as those who call it home.
When: Thursday, September, 4th – 7pm – 9pm
Where: Louise-Schröder-Saal, Berliner Rathaus, Rathausstr. 15. 10178 Berlin
12.-13. September is the ”Aktionstag für ein schönes Berlin” (in English: Day of action for a splendid Berlin), which is your chance to actively do something for your neighborhood or district. It’s time to roll up your sleeves and make your city more beautiful and worth living in.
Contributing is easy. Berliners are asked to form action groups e.g. as a school class, business department, club or with neighbors, friends and family to improve the cityscape or do something nice for others.
