According to latest statistics, around 19,2% of 18
– 24 year olds find themselves unemployed in the EU
– 28. At the same time, 40% of employers report difficulties finding applicants with the right skill requirements. In a survey amongst employers from the UK, Spain,
France and Germany, over 25% indicated the y believe that the
education system is not equipping young people with the right skills
when entering the workforce. Concerning skills, the World Economic Forum looked at the top 10 skills needed for the people to thrive in the Fourth Industrial Revolution

These skills are by and large soft skills, such as complex problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, people management, judgement and decision making, negotiation, etc. Hence, as business – education partnerships are a potent
