Science Beyond Borders – Science Festival

Under the motto “Science Beyond Borders”, we invite everybody to join our science festival at the Museum für Naturkunde. Beyond borders to us means to think out of the box: How can science be seen from different perspectives? How is science connected with art? Is science art in itself? We are a group of enthusiastic young scientists – from infection biologists, psycholinguists, solar cell physicists, polar explorers, historians to deep-sea researchers.

We are happy to share our research with you! Connect with us in the cozy science lounge, take a look at beautiful art pieces of the “Beyond Curie” project and learn about „Knowledge Link through Art and Science (KLAS)”. Get inspired by our guests Dr. Sam Illingworth and Dr. Sascha Vogel, who will challenge the boundaries of science.

This event is organized by N² – the Network of Networks comprising Max Planck PhDnet, Helmholtz Juniors and Leibniz PhD Network. It is embedded in a conference that inspires young researchers to communicate their scientific findings to the public. Please look for “Public Event” on www.n2jointevent.de and register online. There will be a small admission fee of 5€ to cover refreshments in the evening.
