Key Governance Issues – Ways for the Future

After opening remarks by Prof. Jörg Rocholl, President, ESMT Berlin, and Prof. Christian Strenger, Director, Center for Corporate Governance, international experts from academia, business, and regulators will contribute their viewpoints to achieve results for advancing corporate governance.

Throughout the day, three different sessions will focus on specific areas: 1) Executive Compensation: Limits, Complexity and Say on Pay Issues; 2) Board Independence: the Quality Question and dealing with Insider Issues, and 3) Shareholder Identification and Voting Issues (Proxy).

The sessions will be moderated by Peter Montagnon, Associate Director, Institute of Business Ethics; George Dallas, Policy Director, International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN); and Prof. Dr. Dirk Andreas Zetzsche, Universities of Düsseldorf and Luxembourg.
