GRI G4 local launch event Berlin

This free GRI event in Germany to present the new G4 Reporting Guidelines, is made possible by the Bundesministerium fuer Arbeit und Soziales (BMAS), and in collaboration with econsense and Allianz as the provider of the venue.

The Global Reporting Initiative is proud to be working with (BMAS) and other organizations to present the new G4 guidelines in Berlin. The event will aim to create dialogue around the importance of sustainability reporting guidelines, policies and political frameworks (EU) to promote and aid reporting tools for the future of corporate sustainability reporting. Thorben Albrecht (BMAS) and Thorsten Pinkepank (econsense, BASF) will share their perspectives on sustainability reporting. Mr. Bastian Buck, Director Reporting Standards, GRI will introduce G4; its focus on materiality, new design of Disclosures on Management Approach, and new Disclosures. A panel of expert representatives will discuss first impressions of G4, share experiences and look at what the future of sustainability reporting has in store.

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions. There will also be networking time, and refreshments provided.
