“GRI is hosting this webinar to mark the start of the public comment period on the Climate Change and Energy Standard exposure drafts. During the webinars GRI will present the key highlights, the new disclosures and discuss how you can participate and provide feedback for the ongoing improvement of the Standards.
Subject to the approval of the Global Sustainability Standards Board, the public comment period will start on November 21st 2023 until the end of February. Since the last revision of the GRI climate change-related Standards in 2016, the issue of climate change has received significant attention at the international level and in the global sustainable development agenda.
Nowadays, it is imperative for organizations to demonstrate accountability on their climate change impacts through transparent decision making based on scientific evidence.
Participants will be able to acquire clarity on how to participate in the PCP process, raise key questions and engage with experts on the drafts, allowing for greater insight generation and knowledge sharing.
