Position Requirements:

• MBA / Graduate Program recent graduate
• Educational focus and/or understanding of corporate social responsibility issues and environmental strategy is preferred
• At least one prior internship within a business environment
• Relevant work experience (retail industry or consulting preferred)
• Strong internet research skills
• Strong PowerPoint development skills
• Proven analytical/problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Computer Skills – MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, Internet-research

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

General

• Be a key participant on the Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental team
• Contribute to key corporate greening initiatives

Program Reporting & Analysis

• Create Excel-based program tracking charts
• Manage the collection of environmental project data from business partners
• Calculate environmental and cost savings from business partner projects

Internal and External Communication

• Support external CSR reporting
• Develop communications for associates in the Home Offices and the Field
• Maintain the Associate Green Guide on the corporate intranet
• Work with the Energy Manager to promote energy conservation in stores and at the Home Offices

Benchmarking

• Conduct internet research projects for industry benchmarking
• Track developments in US environmental laws and regulations

Support the Green Task Force

• Develop PowerPoint slide presentations
• Present industry benchmarking research to the Green Task Force
• Support additional initiatives as needed
