Key elements to the role:

• Lead the development and delivery of initiatives to ensure continuous improvement in sustainability performance
• Help to secure contracts, deliver external communications programmes and represent the company’s interests to external bodies
• Support in the delivery of the sustainability strategy, policies and targets
• Understand emerging opportunities and challenges, ensuring that the business is fully informed on legislative, competitive and policy issues
• Provide sustainability expertise and training to operations, commercial and functional teams
• Be responsible for monitoring and reporting sustainability performance and managing the delivery of the annual sustainability report

You will have:

• A deep understanding and knowledge of sustainability and sustainability legislation within a business and commercial context
• Well developed people and analytical skills with a customer focus and excellent communication skills
• An Honours degree in an environmental, science or engineering discipline
