Our well-known client, a high profile global FMCG, is looking to recruit a Senior Sustainability Manager, to be based in their London office. This role has huge scope to play a part in driving the delivery of the environmental offering for their sustainability strategy.

Reporting directly to the Environmental Programme Director, the Senior Sustainability Manager will have the opportunity to:

* Engage with a wide range of internal stakeholders to embed the sustainability strategy into their areas of business
* Lead the execution and implementation of the sustainability plan across a number of brand groups
* Support the Director in defining and implementing the external stakeholder sustainability strategy, and liaising with key teams to gain buy-in, commitment, and partnership of execution
* Support the Director and Global level executives in defining and implementing the governance plan, along with an internal and external system for performance and success monitoring

The successful individual will have extensive understanding of the environmental challenges faced, both as a consumer and a business, and previous experience as a skilled marketer or brand manager within an in-house capacity.

Specific skills and experience required include:

* Deep understanding of marketing and innovation
* Technical sustainability experience
* Demonstrable experience of strategic influence
* Specific experience of creating and implementing a sustainability strategy
* Expertise gained within an international matrix structured organisation
