“Man is not imprisoned by habit. Great changes in him can be wrought by crisis — once that crisis can be recognized and understood.” -author Norman Cousins
Sea Change Radio’s Alex Wise and CEO of Sustainability Risk Advisors, Mark Tulay, examine if there is a silver lining to what many are calling the greatest environmental disaster in history unfolding in the Gulf of Mexico [1].
Mark has over 15 years experience in the sustainability movement and was the first employee of CERES, the non-profit whose launch was sparked by the 1989 Exxon Valdez oil spill. He advises asset owners, asset managers and NGOs on sustainability issues and is a champion for innovative Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) research. Mark has written extensively on the investor response to the BP spill (here are a few examples Responsible Investor – Business Ethics – Ethical Corporation).
