Communications Manager | Global Certification Programme & Eco-Label (UK – London)

Having set the global standard for sustainability in their space, our Client is now witnessing huge and growing demand for their certification programme. They are the leading not-for-profit certification programme that recognises and rewards sustainable practices in their sector, working from source through to the end user and all stakeholders in between.

They are now looking for the Communications Manager who will be responsible for broadening the understanding of our Clients policy to new and existing stakeholders across the globe, including conservation groups, media, industry clients and government agencies. A major component of the role will be communicating development, implementation and evaluation of projects, policies, methodologies, guidelines and directives related to the their organisation.

The Candidate will utilise their technical and science communication skills to ensure all relevant stakeholders engage with and understand our Clients policy, including the governance bodies and stakeholder groups.

The right Candidate will act as a spokesperson, both internally and externally, and to be the first point of contact for members of the public and journalists on policy, process and the Clients standards. They will ensure that all relevant communications are targeted to meet audience needs, are produced to a high standard, and represent the Client accurately and persuasively.
