Call for papers: 4th International Conference on CSR

CSR-Challenges Around the Globe

September 22-24, 2010
Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Germany

We cordially invite submissions of individual papers and panels of papers for the 4th International Conference on Corporate Social Responsibility, to be held on September 22-24, 2010, at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Germany.

Submission Process
Please submit a one page proposal for a single paper. Accepted proposals will be assigned to sessions by the Program Committee. We also encourage proposing panels comprising of multiple papers or panel discussions on a common theme. Submissions have to be made online at: www.csr-hu-berlin.org. The deadline for submissions is May 31, 2010.

As in prior years, the Program Committee has developed topics of CSR research, practice, and policies to organize the submission process, and we encourage matching their abstracts to topics that reflect their activities. However, the stream of topics is not meant to be exhaustive, and the Program Committee also welcomes submissions in other categories.

Block 6: New Forms of (Corporate) Governance – Do We Need a Multi-Stakeholder Approach of Governance?
Block 7: Social Business and Social Entrepreneurship – How Much Does It Really Matter?
Block 8: CSR-Measurement and Reporting – You Cannot Manage What You do not Measure?!
Block 9: CSR and the Consumer – How to Make CSR Tangible for Consumers?
Block 10: Bottom of the Pyramid Approaches: Silver Bullet or just a Myth?
Block 11: The Business of Water – New Challenges and Opportunities for Responsible Management?
Block 12: Business and Human Rights – How Can Companies Incorporate Human Rights Principles Into Their Practice?
Block 13: Responsible Leadership and People Management – What Does Responsible Leadership Mean in Business Practice? How to Manage an Increasingly Diverse Workforce in Organizations?
