Acre is working on behalf of an International Banking Corporation to appoint an acting Head of Communications for a 9 month fixed term contract.

The Corporate Sustainability Group is responsible for the delivery of the internal and external communications strategy for sustainability and non-financial reporting. In this role you will manage a communications team of six and oversee corporate sustainability strategy, covering its responsibilities for risk management, business development, community investment and footprint management.

With global reach, your team is responsible for setting sustainability strategy and communicating its implementation to key stakeholders and advising senior management through:

* Internal communications on sustainability issues
* External communications on sustainability issues

Pivotal to this position is to provide solid media relations and issues management, liaising with heads of the press office, IR, marketing and company secretary’s office as required.

In order to face the challenges of working at this senior level, experience in a large multi-national organisation will be well regarded along with having an understanding of sustainability issues and how they relate to finance.
