PRME/CBS International Conference on “Responsible Management Education: Sustainable Leadership in the Era of Climate Change”

What is the role and responsibility of Business Schools in a world of climate change?

How can social science and business theory contribute to solving of the climate challenge?

How should research and education be readjusted in order to meet the new world order?

How should we educate responsible leaders of tomorrow?

What are the best practices for curriculum change in the era of climate change?

These questions will be discussed and answered at the UN PRME international conference on “Sustainable Leadership in the Era of Climate Change” on 23-24 November 2009 hosted by Copenhagen Business School (CBS).

We promise you inspiring lectures, engaging panel debates and involving workshops – all interwoven by an interactive tread of common contribution leading to a final manifesto for Business School’s role and best practice on climate change. Key notes include: Andrew Hoffmann, Professor, Ross School of Business University of Michigan; Mads Øvlisen, former CEO of Novo Nordisk and member of the Global Compact Board;
Andrew Kakabadse, Professor, Cranfield University School of Management.

Copenhagen Business School invites business representatives concerned about competencies of their future managers and employees; Business Schools’ and research centers’ faculty staff and other scholars of
social science interested in climate change research and responsible education of future managers; NGOs and governmental officers working for responsible and sustainable education programmes as well as students interested in influencing their own curriculum.
