Siemens published its new Sustainability Report at www.siemens.com/sustainability-report.The Sustainability Report 2008 presents Siemens’ business activities according to economic, ecological and social criteria. The three focus themes of integrity, CO2 reduction and diversity give readers a clear picture of the company’s wide range of sustainability activities. These include compliance measures and operational and product-related environmental protection, responsible management, occupational health and safety, environmental protection in the supply chain and corporate citizenship activities. All these topics are covered in detail in separate chapters and concrete data are supplied in the form of key figures and specific goals. The framework section describes sustainability strategy and organization and the stakeholder dialogue, and gives an overview of the goals.
