The European Academy of Business in Society (EABIS) is pleased to announce that its Seventh Annual Colloquium will take place on 11-12 September 2008, hosted by Cranfield University School of Management.

The 2008 Colloquium will take as its theme: “CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY AND SUSTAINABILITY: LEADERSHIP AND ORGANISATIONAL CHANGE” Specifically, the conference will drill into the vital challenges of embedding CR and Sustainability into the DNA of the firm (structures, cultures, systems, processes and competencies); the implied organisational change, innovation or even transformation this takes; and the required leadership for making this happen.

A Call for Contributions has been published; deadline is June 9.

The business call invites representatives from business, consulting, NGOs and independent organizations to submit relevant case studies and research work. Corporate submissions should be in the form of a 1-2 page executive summary. Academics are welcome to send proposals for papers (4-5 pp) and related research work as well as existing full papers.
