The global package delivery company UPS has released its fourth annual Corporate Sustainability Report.
The UPS report, Operating in Unison, looks at the company’s impact on communities worldwide - its progress on sustainability issues and at areas where UPS feels improvement is needed.
The report, which details the company’s progress during 2005 against key performance indicators of its social and environmental performance, and on the major activities relating to them, is now online at www.sustainability.ups.com
The report features a wide variety of indicators, ranging from data on their alternative fuel fleet to employee retention rates.
UPS, which is the world’s largest package delivery company and a global leader in supply chain services, has set sustainability goals for the company’s 100th anniversary in 2007, and believes the success of its business depends upon balancing economic, social and environmental objectives.
