The Rabobank Group has provided reports on its accountability for over a century, and this accountability forms an integral part of a co-operative bank’s operating procedure. While the topics change continually, the principle of accountability is interwoven with Rabobank Group’s structure and culture. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is consequently a guiding principle within the organisation.
Rabobank Group’s internal code of conduct is designed to ensure that Corporate Social Responsibility becomes a way of thinking. The policy has now proven its merits in practice. Rabobank Group earned the title of the most sustainable bank in Europe and the second most sustainable bank worldwide in both 2003 and 2005.
