E.ON UK is the largest integrated power and gas business in the UK, generating and distributing electricity, and trading and retailing electricity and gas, and has today launched its corporate responsibility reporting for 2005. The web-based component of this reporting is available at www.eon-uk.com.

There has been a deliberate decision to move to an issues-based style of CSR reporting for 2005, which comprises a printed review augmented by a web-based report. This approach allows an explanation of the most important issues for E.ON UK and its stakeholders in the printed review, with the web-based report providing more supporting information and data on these main issues, as well as presenting activities and performance in other issue areas. The draft G3 guidelines from the Global Reporting Initiative have been used to inform the reporting. URS Verification Ltd. has provided independent third-party assurance.
