Geneva, 25 April 2006 - The WBCSD’s Cement Sustainability Initiative (CSI) is currently running an online dialogue to explore sustainability issues around the use of concrete as a construction material. We would welcome your participation in this process.
The dialogue is structured around an analysis of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of construction materials. The results of the consultation will be used to help guide the Cement Sustainability Initiative in its future activities.
If significant issues are identified the Initiative will need to evaluate how these might be best addressed, what kinds of institutional or partnership arrangements are most appropriate for future study and action, and help formulate a clear set of goals for future work dealing with concrete and sustainable construction.
The consultation is being managed on behalf of the WBCSD by Dialogue by Design.
