Assistant Professor: Philosophy – One-year Position

The College of Saint Benedict/ Saint John’s University announces a one-year term assistant professor position in philosophy to begin August 2006. The position involves teaching upper-division Business Ethics and introductory philosophy courses. Ph.D. prior to appointment preferred, ABD is required. Responsibilities include three courses each semester and advising work.
St. John’s University, a liberal arts college for men, and the College of St. Benedict, a liberal arts college for women, are located four miles apart in Central Minnesota just outside metropolitan St. Cloud and 70 miles from Minneapolis. Both are Catholic colleges in the Benedictine tradition, which emphasize quality teaching and a commitment to intercultural learning.
