BASF publishes 2005 Corporate Report – ReportAlert!

BASF The Chemical Company – has published its 2005 Corporate Report entitled “Shaping the Future”, supported by an online version and additional information at corporate.basf.com/corporate-report

Once again, BASF reports on the three dimensions of sustainability – the economy, the environment and social responsibility – focused on its key stakeholder groups: shareholders, business partners, employees, neighbors and society, and the environment.

Using examples from around the world, the Report demonstrates how BASF, the world’s leader in the chemical industry, is successfully shaping the future together with its partners. This approach is exemplified in the title feature about BASF’s new Verbund site in , .

The Report offers a wealth of information: from sales and earnings figures to details of the workforce structure and environmental data. It also records milestones in 2005 and provides details of social and educational projects supported by BASF.

It is oriented to the guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and has been independently audited and assured by Deloitte.
