- Turnover of Philips’ Green Flagship products doubles to 2 billion Euros

The Philips Sustainability Report 2005 (downloadable at [1] www.philips.com/sustainability) shows positive results from its focus on key global environmental challenges and innovations for emerging markets. Chief among these were the launch of 50 new ‘Green Flagships’ products, bringing the total to more than 160. These products have a significantly reduced environmental impact. In addition, New Sustainable Business Initiative pilots were successfully completed and new ones started, aiming to create both social and economic return on investment. Examples of these products and pilots are featured in the report.

The 2005 report also includes a number of internal and external voices, from experts in various areas including innovation, sustainable value creation, doing business in emerging markets, product design in the medical business, employee value proposition, green lighting technology and our EcoVision program.
