Shining a Light on Corporate Political Contributions

Tuesday, March 7th, 2006

Corporate Watchdog Radio speaks with Center for Political Accountability (CPA) Co-Directors Bruce Freed and John Richardson about their work to bring transparency and accountability to corporate political giving. CPA files shareholder resolutions with companies asking them to disclose their soft money political contributions. Its advocacy has resulted in six companies--Morgan Stanley, Johnson & Johnson, Schering-Plough, Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, and Eli Lilly--implementing policies to disclose their political contributions.
