Deutsche Telekom’s employees are the moving force in implementing sustainability. They live the principles of sustainability both within the company in contact with customers and colleagues, and also externally: many staff members are involved in voluntary activities. To illustrate this, the report demonstrates the personal commitment of five employees.

Deutsche Telekom use the tool of a road map, a clearly defined schedule for furthering sustainability. Specific milestones are set out, showing how the company intends to mark progress against the requirements expected from the company in its strategic direction towards sustainability. In the field of human resources the company is also setting the future course with a strategy for sustainability. Human resources strategy, meshed with corporate strategy, is planning measures which allow business demand to be met with the efficient deployment of our employees. This will support profitable growth, the cornerstone for sustainable conduct.
