Faculty Position in Business Ethics, School of Management, George Mason University

The George Mason University School of Management is accepting applications and nominations for a tenure-line position. This position is open to individuals with a strong record or potential in a business discipline of accounting, finance, management, marketing or information systems; previous teaching experience; and research and teaching interests related to issue in business ethics, such as corporate governance, and ethical decision-making. Rank and discipline is open and salary will be commensurate with experience and rank. The position is available beginning in Fall 2006.

Position qualifications include: (1) a demonstrated track record or potential for publishing significant research in top-tier journals, (2) an ability to teach effectively at the undergraduate, MBA, and EMBA levels, (3) an earned doctorate (entry-level candidates may be ABD and near completion) in a business discipline. The successful candidate will have a strong record or significant potential for academic research in the discipline of the earned doctorate and special research and teaching interests related to ethical issues in business.
