This documents presents a summary of a report examining the relation between responsible business practices and competitiveness. It argues that responsible business practice is becoming an important driver of national and regional competitiveness. The report also presents a ‘Responsible Competitiveness Index’ which indicates how countries are achieving sustainable economic growth based on responsible business practices, and a ‘National Corporate Responsibility Index’ which assesses the state of
