The International Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility (ICCSR) is an initiative of the Nottingham University Business School.
The ICCSR engages in directorystream teaching and research in the broad area of corporate social responsibility. Corporate social responsibility (CSR) refers to the attention of business to:
socially responsible products and processes
socially responsible employee relation
CSR has become prominent in the language and strategy of business and by the growth of dedicated CSR organisations nationally, in the EU and globally. Governments and international governmental organisations are also increasingly encouraging CSR and forming CSR partnerships.
Through its inter-disciplinary approach and international focus, the ICCSR aims to
develop expertise in the analysis and verification of CSR, particularly regarding why it takes place, how it is enacted and what difference it makes
contribute to the acquisition of CSR knowledge, facilitate learning about CSR; and enhance the business, social and governmental case for CSR.
