Business Community Connections aims to help charities obtain more support from business.
bcconnections will assist registered charities and organisations carrying out a charitable purpose to obtain assistance from business to further those charitable purposes. Business support ranges from cash donations and sponsorship to employee volunteering and gifts-in-kind.
bcconnections will further its aim by:
providing a free on-line resource centre of information and advice, to assist in the practical development of business community partnerships
organising local brokering events to facilitate face-to-face contact between potential community and business partners
offering training courses to improve knowledge and skills within charities to develop effective business community partnerships
